ADMISSIONS PROCESS

 

 

PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN ADMISSIONS PROCESS

In order to become part of the B.L.A.™ family, prospective parents are invited to  contact the school and arrange for a tour, during which you will have the opportunity to see our classrooms, teachers, and our students at work and play.  Your tour guide will be one of the school administrative team, who will answer any questions you have about our programs and how we might meet the needs of you and your child.

 

At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to obtain an Admissions Application. If you choose to apply, you will need to submit the Admissions Application before the deadline given, along with the application fee of $75.00 (non-refundable). This fee is independent of all other fees, and it does not constitute any part of your enrollment costs.

 

Once we have received your application, we will schedule a family interview, where parents and prospective students meet with the school administrators. The objective of this meeting is to learn about your family and your individual goals for your child. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions that were not answered during the orientation, and to share with us any particular concerns you may have.

 

During the month of February, all prospective students will attend a play date at our school prior to acceptance. Six to eight students will  join our curriculum director for a guided activity. The play date will last about 45 minutes. One adult must remain with the child for the duration of this event. Our goal is to observe children in a group environment, in order to determine school readiness as well as group placement.

 

An email will be sent to all applicants during the first week of March, in which we will inform you of your status. Bonita Learning Academy does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, national or ethnic origin, or color; in fact we embrace diversity, and strive to provide a balanced multicultural environment for our children. Acceptance is based on age, diversity, school readiness, and social adaptability, among other factors. If your child is placed in our "waiting pool", he/she will be considered for enrollment when a space that fits his/her profile becomes available. If your child is accepted, parents will have 30 days to submit enrollment packets and fees ($470 Enrollment fee & first payment).  If we do not receive these by the stated deadline, the child will lose his/her place and will be placed on the waiting pool list.

 

Students placed on our waiting pool list remain current for the duration of the school year applied for. If they wish to be considered for future school years, they will need to re-apply. (The $75.00 application fee is waived for students who re-apply).

 

TUITION SCHEDULE FOR 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR

 

ANNUAL ENROLLMENT FEE (Books, Materials & Tote Bag): $470.00

ANNUAL TUITION: $9,240.00 ($770 per month)

 

The Enrollment Fee ($470) and Tuition (first payment) must be paid in full to be officially enrolled and are non-refundable. The annual tuition is paid in 12 ($770.00) monthly installments due on the 1st day of each month. The daily tuition is $46.20 based on 200 school days.
